    Summary

    ZLAN7142 is a high-performance WIFI serial device server launched after ZLAN7100 by Shanghai ZLAN. Compared with ZLAN7100, ZLAN7142 are more efficient and convenient to use, which is suitable for the real-time and stable industrial field, especially suitable for wireless remote monitoring of equipment such as PLC. ZLAN7142 not only has the function of RS232/RS485 to transfer WIFI TCP/IP, but also integrates Modbus TCP gateway function to facilitate the transformation of Modbus RTU protocol into Modbus TCP WIFI protocol. For users who use the virtual serial port, the virtual serial port can be realized using ZLVircom software. The original serial port PC software no need modification. The Modbus TCP protocol in configuration software can also be used to connect to the RTU device directly to realize the wifi network communication.

    • Adaptive serial port parameters. When using virtual serial port, ZLAN7142 can self-adjust the corresponding parameters according to serial port baud rate, check bit and other adaptive parameters opened by the PC serial port software. This enables ZLAN7142 to be used in PLC applications with complex serial port protocols.
    • Support for higher baud rates, including 230400 and 460800. Support for 9-bit data, 8-bit data communication with check mode.
    • One-key search device. When wifi and PC or routers build links, the device IP and PC need not be in the same network segment through ZLVircom software one-click search and configuration parameters. Save the trouble of memory device IP. Improved the efficiency of configuration parameters.
    • TCP Server mode supports virtual serial port. ZLAN7100 supports virtual serial port only in TCP client mode. ZLAN7142 supports virtual serial port in both TCP Server and Client mode.
    • Sticky package optimization. ZLAN7142 is suitable for industrial application with high quality of serial port, which can prevent two serial data frames from sticking together. The subcontract interval of ZLAN7100serial port date is more than 100ms, and ZLAN7142 becomes 1ms~100ms. The resolution accuracy is greatly improved.
    • Reset key to restore. Equipped with a Reset button, a button to restore WIFI to AP mode, which is convenient for those forget IP in the Station mode.
    • Wide voltage power supply: 9 ~ 24V power supply range.
    • Power input mode can be selected: can choose industrial terminals power supply mode or ordinary power adapter plug mode power supply.
